Concepts of Intercultural Communications

Communication between people with cultural awareness and symbolic systems is so diverse that it can disrupt the flow of communication called “intercultural communication”. Studying this discipline lets us be aware of the world and different cultures. Through this knowledge, we also know ourselves better, because the concept of “self and other” lies in similarities and differences. In addition, the study of intercultural relations clarifies the tools and methods of communicating with other cultures and the topics desired by both parties.

The present work attempts to interpret the views of experts in the field of intercultural communication in the field of major and minor concepts and in this way, to take advantage of the opinions of Iranian thinkers and abroad. The book’s specific and compelling examples facilitate the understanding of the target concepts and encourage the reader to continue studying and pursuing the proposed topics.
